About the Course
The Shay Moral Injury Center is currently offering Moral Injury Recovery in the Aftermath of COVID courses to resource chaplains, clergy, religious and spiritual care providers on moral injury recovery strategies.
An experiential, trauma-informed, interfaith, and interactive space for participants to learn and apply moral injury processing methods, the daylong, online live session course is responsive to the emotional and psychological fallout of COVID-19 and social and economic inequities.
As emotional wounds from unprecedented levels of stress, spiritual and mental anguish, burnout, and disillusionment will continue to emerge months and and even years from now, spiritual and religious leaders are positioned to offer moral injury and distress recovery care to their communities.
Live session Zoom training is at 12–8:30 pm Eastern time on October 2, 2021.
Note: A 3-hour moral distress processing group time begins at 12:30 pm ET. Participants who try to join the training after 12:30 pm ET will be asked to return at 4 pm ET for the lecture portion, as to not disrupt the group time.
